Overview
A massive gameplay evolution. Characters who reach Base Level 99 and Job Level 50 as a Primary Second Class can travel to Juno to undergo Rebirth, a process known as "Transcendence." When reborn, they lose all Stats and Skills and become a level 1/1 High Novice, a more powerful version of the regular Novice.
High Novices progress through High First Classes and ultimately into Transcendent Second Classes with access to all their original skills plus powerful new Transcendent-exclusive abilities. The max Job Level increases from 50 to 70, and characters gain permanent stat bonuses.
Rebirth Bonuses
+25% Max HP & SP
Permanent increase to maximum HP and SP for all Transcendent characters.
100 Starting Stat Points
Start with 100 stat points instead of the regular Novice's 48.
+1 All Base Stats
Bonus +1 to all base stats granted incrementally over High Novice job levels.
New Sprites
Differently-colored sprites and access to Transcendent-only equipment.
Auto Quest Skills
Automatically receive First Aid, Play Dead, and all First Class quest skills.
Job Level 70 Cap
Transcendent Second Classes can reach Job Level 70 instead of 50.

How to Rebirth
Reach Base Lv 99 / Job Lv 50
Must be a Primary Second Class (Knight, Priest, Wizard, etc.) at maximum levels.
Visit the Sage Castle in Juno
Go to northwest Juno and enter the Sage Castle (yuno 87/321).
Talk to Metheus Sylphe
Pay 1,285,000 Zeny as a donation to view the Book of Ymir. This fee can be waived by hunting a Runaway Book in the Juno fields and looting a Captured Book.
Read the Book of Ymir
Choose "Leave your body to it" to be transported to Valhalla.
Meet the Valkyrie
Walk north in Valhalla and speak to the Valkyrie. You must have no Pushcart, Falcon, Pet, or mount, all Skill Points spent, and under 500 Weight.
Reborn as High Novice
The Valkyrie recognizes your power and you are reborn as a High Novice, warped to the town of your original First Class.
