Episode 13.1: Ash Vacuum
At the entrance to the Barracks, speak to Diego (mid_camp 264/263) and offer to help him. He asks you to bring 20 Ordinary Branch and 20 Strong Vine. Strong Vine is dropped by Nephentes on the first Manuk Field. Speak to the Camp Guard (mid_camp 335/171) to move to man_fild01. For Ordinary Branch, speak to the Camp Guard (mid_camp 13/143) to move west to spl_fild02, then click on the trees at (232/143), (304/149), or (379/195) repeatedly until you have 20.
Quest Walkthrough
New Surroundings
Your first quest at the Rune Midgard Allied Forces Post. Settle into camp life by registering, repairing the barracks, delivering supplies across the camp, and carrying letters between officers.
Prerequisite: Access to the New World
Start: Marian (mid_camp)
Items: 20 Ordinary Branch, 20 Strong Vine
Step 1 - Arrival
Talk to Marian (mid_camp 222/283). She welcomes you to the camp, tells you to talk to Instructor Lugen, and gives you a Chocolate Pie.
Step 2 - Instructor Lugen
Talk to Instructor Lugen (mid_camp 261/284). He says you need to register with the Receptionist at the big building in the center of the camp.
Step 3 - Registration
Enter the building (mid_camp 215/247) and talk to Receptionist Brink (mid_campin 106/122). He registers you, gives you another Chocolate Pie, and sends you back to Lugen.
Step 4 - To the Barracks
Lugen (mid_camp 261/284) gives you another Chocolate Pie and tells you to go to the Barracks to rest for the night.
Step 5 - Helping Diego
At the entrance to the Barracks, speak to Diego (mid_camp 264/263) and offer to help him. He asks you to bring 20 Ordinary Branch and 20 Strong Vine. Strong Vine is dropped by Nephentes on the first Manuk Field. Speak to the Camp Guard (mid_camp 335/171) to move to man_fild01. For Ordinary Branch, speak to the Camp Guard (mid_camp 13/143) to move west to spl_fild02, then click on the trees at (232/143), (304/149), or (379/195) repeatedly until you have 20.
Step 6 - Repairing the Posts
Return to Diego with the parts. Speak to one of the Posts at (mid_camp 266/257) or (266/263) near Diego and select "Attach the Tree Bar" then "Tie it with vines." Repeat until the post is fixed, then select "Knot it." Do the same to the other post. Talk to Diego again. Receive 5 Chocolate Pies.
Step 7 - Rest
You are warped inside to your bed. Speak to Lucas. Receive 1 Chocolate Pie.
Step 8 - Supply Delivery
Return to Instructor Lugen (mid_camp 261/284). He asks you to distribute supplies and directs you to Marian. Receive 1 Chocolate Pie. Speak to Marian (mid_camp 222/283) and receive 3 Supply Boxes and 1 Chocolate Pie.
Step 9 - Delivery to Jan
Lugen tells you to deliver the 1st box to Jan, northwest of the camp. Deliver the supplies to Jan (mid_camp 162/298). Receive 1 Chocolate Pie. Return to Instructor Lugen.
Step 10 - Delivery to Gerard
Your next delivery is to Gerard across the west bridge. Deliver the supplies to Gerard (mid_camp 30/168) and return to Instructor Lugen. Receive 1 Chocolate Pie.
Step 11 - Delivery to Alberto
The last delivery is to Alberto (man_fild01 80/248) at the entrance to the east field. He asks for your help to open the box. Receive 1 Chocolate Pie. Return to Instructor Lugen.
Step 12 - Letter Exchange
Lugen thanks you for your help. Continue talking to Lugen repeatedly until he asks you to deliver a letter for him. Receive 1 Letter to Otto. Deliver his letter to Otto (mid_camp 123/290). Otto has a letter for you to send back to Lugen. Receive 1 Letter to Lugen and 1 Chocolate Pie. Deliver Otto's Letter to Lugen.
Final Rewards
5 Chocolate Pies, 1 Old Purple Box, 100,000 Base EXP (150,000 VIP), 10,000 Job EXP (15,000 VIP). Plus many Chocolate Pies collected throughout the quest.
