Finding a Fairy / Finding a Tree Giant

Make first contact with the two native races of the New World. Discover the Small Fairy of the Laphine in Splendide Field 2 and the Tree Giant of the Sapha in Manuk Field 3.

Part 1: Finding a Fairy

Step 1 - The Small Fairy

In Splendide Field 2, talk to the Small Fairy (spl_fild02 34/223). She speaks in a strange language you cannot understand.

Step 2 - Report Back

Back at the Midgard Camp, talk to the Camp Guard Captain (mid_camp 212/237). Report your encounter with the fairy.

Fairy Rewards

70,000 Base EXP (90,000 Base EXP if Base Level 100+).

Part 2: Finding a Tree Giant

Step 1 - The Tree Giant

In Manuk Field 3, talk to the Tree Giant (man_fild03 236/105). Like the fairy, he speaks in a language you cannot understand.

Step 2 - Report Back

Return to the Camp Guard Captain to tell him of the giant.

Giant Rewards

70,000 Base EXP (90,000 Base EXP if Base Level 100+).

Note

Completing both parts is a prerequisite for the Ring of the Wise King quest, where you will return to both NPCs to learn their exact words for the Arunafeltz Linguist.
