Overview

Episode 16.2 continues directly after The Royal Banquet. Nihil M. Heine sends you to help Crux track down the fugitive chamberlain Bruno in Lighthalzen. After Bruno's capture, the investigation shifts to the Republic of Schwartzvald. You escort Spica Nerius to meet with the Rebellion's Secret Wing agent Philopontess (Tess) and navigate the underworld of Einbroch and Einbech to reach the hidden Clana Nemieri Rebellion Base.

Inside the base, you forge an alliance between the Rebellion factions, raid the Heart Hunter War Base north of Einbroch, and infiltrate Werner Laboratory to confront Eisen Werner and discover the truth about the Heart of Ymir experiments. The episode introduces Imperial Equipment, Schwartz's Honor Tokens, and numerous daily quests. The story continues in Episode 17.1: Illusion.
