Two Tribes

With your Ring of the Ancient Wise King equipped, head to Splendide, the village of the Laphine. Enter the first hut on the right side (splendide 228/162). Arc (Guard Fairy) will stop you at first. Speak to him again and offer to help look for his missing friend Terra. He tells you his friend frequently ties knots in weeds to leave a trail.

Talk to the weeds outside the village (spl_fild02 44/214). They are knotted and point south.

Talk to the weeds near (spl_fild02 123/106). They are knotted and point east.

Talk to the weeds near (spl_fild02 330/192). They are knotted and point north.

Talk to the footprints near (spl_fild02 328/322). The footprints are headed north.

Near (spl_fild01 343/109), there are more footprints which lead to the root of a huge tree.

Enter Nidhoggur's Dungeon just east (spl_fild01 373/110). Inside, click on the Petrified Sapha (nyd_dun01 57/222) in the northwest corner. Optional: If you don't have a warp back, the exit is north of the Petrified Sapha at (62, 232).

Return to Arc. He tells you Terra left with some bradium. After discussion, you decide to head back to the Petrified Sapha. Return and notice bits of bradium ore scattered about. You decide to visit the Sapha.

In Manuk, speak to the Villagers near (manuk 278/177). They mention Terra's arrival.

Inside the building at (manuk 252/110), speak to Snorren (man_in01 175/59) and offer to interpret for him. Speak again; the guard says Terra's wounds need treatment first. Head back to Arc.

Arc tells you that Yggdrasil Berries are the best cure for a Laphine's wounds. He gives you 3 and tells you to collect more at the root of the tree. Collect berries from the fruit near: (spl_fild01 356/42), (spl_fild01 314/78), and (spl_fild01 328/26).

Return to Snorren with the Berries. Warning: If you have more than 6 Yggdrasil Berries, he will take them ALL. After giving Snorren the Berries, enter the room behind him. Talk to him, then talk to the captured Laphine. She tells you about the injured Sapha.

Talk to Luik. He is skeptical and wants proof to ensure they are not being led into a trap.

Return to the Petrified Sapha. Take his Muffler and the unrefined Bradium as evidence.

Return to Snorren with the items. He recognizes that the bradium has not been properly refined. He also recognizes the muffler as Ogen's. He asks you to lead him to the roots of the tree.

Return to the Petrified Sapha. Snorren tells you Ogen is too far gone to be saved. His body can remain as a statue in his honor. Return to Snorren for your reward.

Snorren rewards you with 15 Manuk Coins. Return to Arc, who tells you to meet him at Terra's Yai (splendide 285/139). Inside, talk to Terra. Receive 25 Splendide Coins, 120,000 Base EXP, and 10,000 Job EXP.
